Kevin Smoker Construction & Consulting has the experience, integrity and quality of work you demand. Whether it is a small home repair, a complete remodel or a new home, we have the craftsmen and management staff that will exceed your expectations. And, we stand behind our work. We have worked throughout the Portland and surrounding areas and are very familiar with the building codes and specific requirements which many building departments mandate.

ESTIMATING
If you are considering a home remodel/addition, a new home or a commercial project and are in need of projected cost, we can help. We have the capability and knowledge to provide quick conceptual estimates using accurate unit pricing to full-blown contractor estimates with which you can feel extremely comfortable.

Estimating the project during design phase allows you to know where you stand from a monetary standpoint. With this knowledge you can revise the design to meet your budget, add to the design, "value engineer" the design to squeeze as much cost out while retaining the integrity of the design or keep the design as-is feeling comfortable with the projected cost.

Also, many lending institutions require an accurate budget analysis if you are considering a construction loan.

Our consulting services range in nature. Here is a list of the most common:

Estimating Services:
Estimating services is part of our consulting program unless a client has negotiated a construction contract with us. In this case the estimating fees are either heavily discounted or waived.

Residential and Commercial Site Feasibility Studies:
If you have a parcel of land and are considering either building a home or commercial property we can guide you through the process. We would be the “conduit” in which all information is filtered and analyzed. We will review and provide updates to you on a daily basis until all municipalities and consultants have provided you with the necessary plans and documents required for a building permit with which you are satisfied.
